Defenceman Andrei Markov would like to stay with the Montreal Canadiens past this season and is ready to start talking numbers. According to Dave Stubbs of The Montreal Gazette, preliminary talks have begun between Markov - an unrestricted free agent this summer - and general manager Marc Bergevin. "How long thats going to be, you never know," he told the newspaper on Monday. "Its not only my decision, (but) also management, the organization. Well see whats going to happen."
